The Congolese state through the Ministry of Tertiary Education provides accommodation facilities to UMNG students who meet certain eligibility requirements. Several university residences managed by the Directorate General of University Services and Social Affairs (DGASOU) are located on the UMNG campus.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Tertiary Education recently renovated two cafeterias on the campuses of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the National Teacher Training Institute. Both cafeterias are presently open and welcome students and staff every day. Students receive meals at moderate cost by buying meal coupons.
